quombilate (KWOM-bih-layt) — verb. From Latin quom (some) + biltus, a (humorously invented) form meaning "hovering thought."
Definition: To stand, often barefoot, in the cool blue glow of an open refrigerator, having entered the kitchen with a clear intention and lost it entirely between the doorway and the door handle. Can also extend to similar states in front of pantries, wardrobes, and certain particularly contemplative bookshelves.
Usage: "She quombilated for almost a minute before remembering she came in for the salt."
